Day Shift: 8am – 5pm (12.30pm finish on Friday)

Overview: This market leading engineering company are recruiting for a Process Engineer to join their site in Cheltenham. The company manufacture and supply a range of specialist products to various industries across the globe. To be a contributor of the Process Engineering team, delivering support to production environments and progressing projects.
Responsibilities:
- To undertake support for the production areas ensuring safe and efficient manufacturing.
- To be involved and lead general projects and improvement activities to enhance our products and manufacturing processes.
- Employ Lean and Agile techniques to all activities delivering cost efficiency.
- Working with the Lead Engineer to deliver new technology and support capital investment projects.
- Support the introduction of equipment and or processes from concept stage to the production handover.
- Implement “Future Factory” solutions that guarantee manufacturing capability and capacity to meet demand.
- Support and drive improvement for the ongoing pursuit of quality across assembly and operations.
- Strong communication with all stakeholders, suppliers and contractors.
Requirements:
- Technical engineering background.
- Welding background would be beneficial.
- Experience in Lean and Agile manufacturing techniques.
- Knowledge of assembly and machining processes.
- An understanding of project management.
- Worked in fast paced diverse manufacturing environment.
- Working to and achieving targets, using project management tools.
