Location: Quedgeley

Pay Range: £37,000 inclusive of shift allowance

Contract Type: Perm - Double Days

Working hours: week 1 06:00am to 14:00pm Monday to Friday and week 2 14:00pm to 10:00pm. Early finish on Friday 11:00 am on AM shift and 7:00pm on PM shift.

My client, a well-established specialist in precision manufacturing, is looking for an experienced CNC Machinist to support the production of high-quality components. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business supplying precision parts across a range of industries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set and operate 3 and 4 axis CNC milling machines with Haas controls to manufacture precision components
  • Work from engineering drawings, CAD data, and written instructions
  • Use inspection and measuring equipment to ensure components meet required tolerances
  • Self-inspect components to maintain quality standards
  • Accurately complete relevant documentation and production records
  • Maintain a clean and organised working environment
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Previous experience setting and operating CNC machines (any control system as training will be provided on HAAS)
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment
  • Flexible approach to shift working patterns, ability to work rotating AM and PM shifts
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Good timekeeping and housekeeping
