The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 Β£ per year.
Day Shift: 8am β 5pm (12.30pm finish on Friday). To provide competent inspection and quality surveillance of surface preparation and applications. Act as Paint Specialist on production methods.
- Solution development with direct liaison with paint suppliers and contractors.
- Review and interpret client and project paint/coating specifications.
- Inspect coating application activities and verify compliance with approved procedures.
- Measure and record wet film thickness (WFT) and dry film thickness (DFT).
- Maintain accurate inspection records, reports and photographic evidence.
- Support final acceptance, handover documentation and coating dossiers.
- Accept or reject surface preparation and coating work.
- Stop work where quality, safety, or specification compliance is compromised.
- Sign off inspection and acceptance documentation within agreed limits of authority.
- Demonstrable experience inspecting industrial coating systems on steel and/or metallic substrates.
- Produce clear, accurate, and timely inspection reports.
- Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, applicators, and project teams.
- Escalate quality or technical concerns in a professional and timely manner.
