The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 Β£ per year.

Day Shift: 8am – 5pm (12.30pm finish on Friday). To provide competent inspection and quality surveillance of surface preparation and applications. Act as Paint Specialist on production methods.

  • Solution development with direct liaison with paint suppliers and contractors.
  • Review and interpret client and project paint/coating specifications.
  • Inspect coating application activities and verify compliance with approved procedures.
  • Measure and record wet film thickness (WFT) and dry film thickness (DFT).
  • Maintain accurate inspection records, reports and photographic evidence.
  • Support final acceptance, handover documentation and coating dossiers.
  • Accept or reject surface preparation and coating work.
  • Stop work where quality, safety, or specification compliance is compromised.
  • Sign off inspection and acceptance documentation within agreed limits of authority.
  • Demonstrable experience inspecting industrial coating systems on steel and/or metallic substrates.
  • Produce clear, accurate, and timely inspection reports.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, applicators, and project teams.
  • Escalate quality or technical concerns in a professional and timely manner.
