Graduate Electrical Design Engineer required by industry leading company, based in Droitwich. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the design, development, and delivery of innovative products, supporting projects from initial sales order through to manufacture.

You will play a key role in translating customer requirements into accurate technical documentation, ensuring high-quality contract releases and continuous product improvement.

Main Duties:

  • Review sales orders and releases to determine contract requirements
  • Produce detailed technical engineering drawings and electrical schematics for manufacture and assembly
  • Prepare and maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs)
  • Ensure complete and precise contract releases for manufacturing
  • Support the ongoing design development and refinement of existing and new products
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including sales and production

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Minimum 2:1 BEng in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
  • Previous exposure to product design
  • Ability to create and interpret technical engineering drawings
  • Understanding of core electrical engineering principles
  • Experience with CAD tools such as AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks (desirable)
  • Strong IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills and outstanding attention to detail.
