Electrical Test Engineer required by market leading manufacturing company, based in Droitwich. The successful Electrical Test Engineer will be responsible for testing, inspection, and commissioning of complex electrical and control systems prior to customer delivery.
Main Duties:
- Carry out full testing and inspection of equipment in a manufacturing environment
- Connect electrical, water, and mechanical systems for testing
- Perform fault finding and diagnostics, including live PLC troubleshooting
- Use test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power analysers
- Work with high-voltage systems
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve technical issues
- Complete testing documentation and quality records
- Sign off equipment prior to dispatch
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Educated to HNC (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering
- Strong knowledge of single & three-phase systems and high-power circuits
- Experience working with live electrical equipment
- Understanding of analogue and digital electronics
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- High attention to detail and quality standards
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Mechanically minded with practical hands-on ability
- Flexibility for international travel to meet the needs of the role.
