Electronic Design Engineer - Test Equipment Staverton, Gloucestershire Electronic Engineering Permanent Employment The Role - Electronic Design Engineer We have a fantastic opportunity for a rounded Electronic Design Engineer to join a thriving engineering and manufacturing business in Staverton.
As a Electronic Design Engineer, you'll support a number of areas in Test Development including Test Equipment Design, Development, build, commissioning and maintenance.
Being a medium sized business, this role would suit someone who wants wide role coverage and an opportunity to develop in across these areas combining hands on support with technical engineering capability.
Duties - Electronic Design Engineer Designing, developing, and supporting automated test systems internally.
Developing equipment for both product introductions (NPI) and ongoing production.
Maintaining and enhancing existing test.
Investigating and resolving test-related issues affecting manufacturing.
Collaborating with wider engineering teams to ensure effective test coverage.
Analysing test data to identify opportunities for system improvements.
Developing technical documentation, work instructions, and support materials.
Background - Electronic Design Engineer Experience in design and build of electronic test equipment.
Hardware development and integration focused on measurement capability Embedded C, Python experience desirable.
Lab VIEW application development exposure.
