Join our leading aerospace engineering client's team in Derby and contribute to cutting-edge precision machined component development. As a CNC Machinist (Milling), you'll play a key role in machining complex components for advanced aircraft systems, working in a collaborative and innovative environment.
Due to security restrictions, all candidates must currently hold British citizenship.
Duties - CNC Setter Operator- Produce accurate, high-quality components with maximum efficiency
- Competently set and operate CNC machines
- Work to tight tolerances and check your own work meets the required standard
- Work on your own initiative and understand all aspects of the manufacturing process
- Quality check all finished jobs
- Clean and maintain CNC machine and all associated equipment and machine area
- Engineering apprenticeship OR significant experience
- Able to set and operate milling machines
- Experience of milling machines - 3 or 5 Axis
- Able to interpret engineering drawings
- Able to self-inspect work using various inspection techniques
- 25 Days Annual Leave plus Bank Holidays (33 total)
- Life Assurance: 3 x annual salary
- 4 Day week
