Join our leading aerospace engineering client's team in Derby and contribute to cutting-edge precision machined component development. As a CNC Machinist (Milling), you'll play a key role in machining complex components for advanced aircraft systems, working in a collaborative and innovative environment.

Due to security restrictions, all candidates must currently hold British citizenship.

Duties - CNC Setter Operator
  • Produce accurate, high-quality components with maximum efficiency
  • Competently set and operate CNC machines
  • Work to tight tolerances and check your own work meets the required standard
  • Work on your own initiative and understand all aspects of the manufacturing process
  • Quality check all finished jobs
  • Clean and maintain CNC machine and all associated equipment and machine area
Background - CNC Setter Operator
  • Engineering apprenticeship OR significant experience
  • Able to set and operate milling machines
  • Experience of milling machines - 3 or 5 Axis
  • Able to interpret engineering drawings
  • Able to self-inspect work using various inspection techniques
