My client, a leading force within aerospace manufacturing, is on the hunt for a Product Line Engineering Manager to join the team in Deeside.
Role and Responsibilities – Product Line Engineering Manager
- Lead a team of engineers across 2 main sites within the UK, being responsible for functional performance in all key areas of the business.
- Contribute to the development measures that allow the health of the key business processes to be assessed, meet or exceed goals, and improve.
- Responsible for new business proposals, including proposal development, market awareness, customer relationship building, and developing new strategies for winning new contracts.
- Coach and improve engineers at all levels, ensuring KPIs throughout the business are achieved.
- Responsible for new product development from contract award through to introduction of new products in the supply chain, requiring measurement and meeting of cost, schedule, and performance.
Experience or Qualifications – Product Line Engineering Manager
- Highly extensive experience in leading engineering teams (ideally within an aerospace/defence environment).
- Degree level educated within engineering or aerospace.
- Detailed examples of improving an engineering team's culture and work ethic.
- Experience within a multi-site business and travelling to work with suppliers/partners.
