An established and growing organisation operating within the automotive and fleet services sector is seeking a Fleet Compliance Lead to join the business on a 9-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a compliance professional with a CPC qualification to take ownership of compliance activity, investigate non-conformances, and work closely with operational and account management teams to drive best practice across the fleet operation.
Responsibilities:
- Lead fleet compliance activities across a multi-client operation
- Monitor and analyse compliance-related data, identifying trends, risks and areas of concern
- Investigate instances of non-compliance and ensure corrective actions are implemented
- Support internal audits and compliance reviews
- Work closely with Account Managers to ensure customer requirements and regulatory obligations are met
- Collaborate with operational and compliance teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain accurate compliance records and reporting documentation
- Provide guidance and support on fleet legislation, operator licence requirements and transport compliance matters
- Produce regular compliance reports and present findings to key stakeholders
- Assist in developing and implementing compliance processes, controls and procedures
Experience / Qualifications:
- CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification is essential
- Previous experience within fleet, transport, logistics or vehicle compliance environments
- Strong understanding of operator licence compliance and transport legislation
- Experience conducting compliance investigations and root cause analysis
- Comfortable working with large volumes of data and producing meaningful insights
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and challenge when required
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently whilst collaborating across multiple teams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and compliance reporting tools
