Mechanical Fitter Location: Coleford Type of role: permanent Working hours: 37.5 hours One week Monday - Friday 06.00 -14.00, second week Monday - Thursday 14.00-22.00, Friday 06.00- 14.00, 30 minutes unpaid lunch break each day We are now seeking Mechanical Fitter to carry out mechanical assembly of pumps with either an electric motor or diesel engine. The appropriate candidate would have previous experience in working within mechanical assembly or mechanical fitting environment. Raise any assembly issues with QA engineer and supervisor. Fill in production data books with project critical information requested. Comply with health, safety, and environmental rules as detailed in risk assessments and COSHH sheets. Communication with peer group e.g. when working on a project build together / across shifts. Read engineering drawings Ability to work double day shift.
