Position: CNC Turner Location: Wednesbury Position: Full time Permanent Nightshift Working hours: 46 per week Monday to Thursday 6:00 am to 06:00pm Salary: competitive This role provides the business with the running of one or more CNC turning machines in their Cell. The CNC Turner Setter Operator will be responsible for crafting and maintaining precision parts and components, which are crucial in industries such as aerospace and defence. Responsibilities of CNC Turner Setting and operating (including reading and editing programs as required) one or more CNC turning machines with Fanuc controls Prove out first off and production, in line with customer requirement and specification Working to tight tolerances Responsible for stamping own work. Working to technical drawings Actively work with the Production Team Leader and Production Manager to establish key delivery dates/requirements. Qualifications & Requirements β CNC Turner Setter Operator Engineering qualification preferably craft apprenticeship or equivalent is desirable CNC setting and operating of turning machines (Fanuc operating system) Good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to be able to read and understand engineering drawings.
