We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer, Setter, and Operator (Milling) to work on their night shift, ensuring the highest quality components are manufactured in line with engineering specifications and customer requirements. You will program, set, and operate CNC milling machines, read and interpret engineering drawings, and maintain accurate documentation while maximising material utilisation and adhering to strict quality and safety standards. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive individual with a passion for precision engineering to contribute to a high-performing team. Key Responsibilities – CNC Programmer, Setter, Operator (Milling) Program, set, and operate CNC milling machines to produce components in accordance with engineering drawings. Optimise cutting patterns to maximise stock utilisation and minimise waste. Handle all products safely to prevent damage and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Maintain accurate records in the computer-based stock control system and ensure all documentation meets quality standards. Clearly identify stock and processed products to meet customer requirements. Support the training and development of other operatives as needed. Key Skills & Qualifications – CNC Programmer, Setter, Operator (Milling) Proficient in programming CNC milling machines Proven ability to read engineering drawings and cutting patterns, with hands-on experience in a precision machining environment. PC literate, with strong planning, organisational, and problem-solving abilities. A focus on quality, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and tidy work environment.
