Working hours: Monday to Friday week 1 6:00 am to 02:00 pm and 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm week 2
Overtimes: paid at premium rate
We are looking for a CNC Miller to work for an engineering manufacturing business based in Gloucester. The appropriate candidate would be responsible for machining precision parts for the aerospace sector.
Responsibilities of CNC setter:
- Following technical drawings
- Setting and operating CNC milling machine with Fanuc controls
- Machining aerospace components
- Machining precision parts to tight tolerances
- CNC Machinist must be able to set and operate a machine under no supervision
- Measuring, adjusting, and maintaining tight tolerances
Requirements of CNC setter:
- Previous experience working with Milling CNC machines with Fanuc or Haas controls
- Strong ability to read technical drawings and accurately measure components
- Experience working to tight tolerances and using measurement tools
- A proactive and positive attitude, with the willingness to receive further training
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
