Our client is looking for a proactive and skilled Site Industrial / Commercial Electrician to play a key role in maintaining the reliability and performance of site services and infrastructure. This position is responsible for ensuring all plant, utilities, and building systems are maintained to a high standard and remain fully compliant. The successful candidate will respond to breakdowns, carry out planned maintenance, and drive continuous improvements across the site, supporting efficient and uninterrupted manufacturing operations.

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in accordance with BS 7671 standards.
  • Perform inspection, testing, verification and produce accurate certification.
  • Testing and inspection of electrical systems.
  • Maintenance of emergency lighting systems.
  • Monitoring hot and cold water systems.
  • General repairs to walls, ceilings, and flooring.
  • Inspecting building condition and reporting issues.
  • Basic installation work (e.g. sockets, lighting upgrades, small electrical works).
  • Supporting the operation of Boilers, compressors, cooling systems/chillers, monitoring pressures, temperatures, and alarms.

Recognised electrical qualification:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrotechnical Services / Installation.
  • Level 2/3 Inspection & Testing (e.g., PPM + reactive maintenance).
  • HVAC / building services/utilities preferred, not essential.
  • Permit to work / LOTO / contractor control.
