A leading automotive manufacturer supplying high-end lighting systems to luxury and supercar brands is seeking an Advanced Quality Engineer to join its NPI Quality team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a business undergoing significant investment and transformation, offering the chance to influence quality performance at every stage of the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities - Advanced Quality Engineer
- Coordinate and control all APQP documentation through to PPAP approval for new programme launches.
- Execute PPAP submissions for customer-driven and internal engineering changes.
- Oversee quality-related gateway tasks and ensure compliance with latest customer standards.
- Provide statistical analysis support during product maturation phases.
- Escalate risks and delays affecting BEON/PPAP submission targets.
- Conduct root cause analysis and drive effective problem resolution.
- Support Supplier Quality in cascading customer-specific requirements.
- Act as point of contact for customer project quality concerns and milestone reviews.
- Contribute to lessons-learned workshops across the product range.
Qualifications & Requirements - Advanced Quality Engineer
- Strong experience within medium-volume manufacturing, ideally automotive.
- Deep knowledge of automotive quality tools and APQP methodology.
- Competent in team building, planning and decision-making.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and Minitab.
