We are now seeking a CNC Mill/Turn setter to work for an Engineering & Manufacturing company based in Poole. The appropriate candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating the CNC mill/turn machines with Fanuc controls to manufacture precision engineering products.
Responsibilities:
- Setting and operating CNC 5 Mill/Turn machines with Fanuc controls
- Working on technical engineering drawings
- Working with aluminium and stainless steel
- Ability to use measuring tools
- Ensuring excellent quality through the inspection of parts using measuring equipment such as gauges, verniers and micrometres.
Requirement:
- Ideally, previous experience in setting and operating CNC Mill/Turn machines with Fanuc or Haas controls
- Ability to change tools and adjust offsets
- Ability to use measuring tools
- Working knowledge of Nakamura machines with bar feed is an advantage but not essential
