We are now looking to recruit a Production Operator to work for a manufacturing engineering company based in Truro. You will be responsible for ensuring items are loaded, shotblasted, painted and unloaded correctly and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Load, Shotblast, Paint & Unload components according to strict guidelines, designs, technical drawings and instructions.
- Help to gather & organise the correct parts requested/required by different sections.
- Meet the expected standards of accuracy, efficiency, quality and output as set by the Company.
- Complete daily inspection/check sheets.
- Determine appropriate tools or method based on requirements and use them according to strict safety standards.
- Perform daily operational checks on machinery and tools; identify and report any defects.
- Maintain tools, equipment and hanging hooks in a condition that does not compromise safety.
- Regularly check quality of parts to ensure they meet the required standards set.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Operation of all associated machinery and tools to move raw material and large components.
Skills:
- Experience of industrial painting and associated equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documents.
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritise effectively.
