This is a fantastic opportunity for a Test Equipment Technician to join a rapidly growing aerospace business with some incredible new projects coming through. As a result, the Test Systems Engineering function will need to grow opening an excellent opportunity for someone to join the team. This is a hands-on role supporting the delivery of bespoke Test Equipment to validate mechanical, electrical, electronic, software, and power distribution components.
Duties:
- Commission new Test Equipment in line with technical requirements
- Support mechanical and electrical assembly tasks
- Lead integration and formal verification testing
- Facilitate customer validation and correlation testing activities
- Annotate part and assembly drawings to reflect βas built' condition
- Independently troubleshoot hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems
- Support calibration procedure development and facility readiness
Background:
- HNC/HND or equivalent in Electronics or Mechanical Engineering
- Apprenticeship-trained background (advantageous)
- Experience with Test Systems or Test Equipment commissioning
- Ability to interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics
