Omega are supporting a well-established business with over 25 years of experience in the refrigeration, air conditioning, heating, and ventilation industry in their search for an Air Conditioning Engineer. The right candidate will play a vital role in supporting installation, service, and maintenance teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, commission, and test air conditioning systems in accordance with technical specifications and schematics.
- Conduct routine maintenance to ensure systems operate efficiently and reliably.
- Diagnose faults and perform repairs on various air conditioning units and related equipment.
- Lead maintenance teams during large-scale projects or system upgrades, providing guidance and supervision.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals to facilitate accurate installation and repair work.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during all phases of work.
- Collaborate with construction teams during building projects to integrate air conditioning systems seamlessly.
- Maintain detailed records of service activities, repairs, and system performance.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- F-GAS Certification 2079 - minimum Level 1 and Level 2
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to pass an enhanced DBS check to enable unescorted access to client sites
