My client, a logistics leader with world renowned recognition, are on the hunt for a Asset Control Specialist to join the team!
Role and Responsibilities –
In this role, you will be overseeing the audit and reconciliation process for the UK operations.
Other responsibilities include:
- Conduct weekly review meetings with Sales to track the progress of open audit reconciliations, escalating late or unresolved problems to higher management
- Manage the stock audit planning in collaboration with the Field Sales Team ensuring all counts are scheduled
- Coordinate all tracking systems to make sure there are timely updates and reliable audit trails
- Contact customers directly (by phone or email) to review findings, clarify anomalies, and agree corrective actions or validate variances.
Experience or Qualifications –
- Highly relatable experience in asset control, supply chain or logistics planning
- Advanced level in Excel or Database management systems (e.g. Tableau, Power BI)
- Methodological approach to organising all systems examples of strict deadlines kept to on projects of work
- Basic understanding of logistics flows between customers, distribution centres, and pooling depots.
