Omega are supporting a key facilities management client in the recruitment of a Mobile Maintenance Electrician (Area Site Technician) to work across West London. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing team supporting a major UK supermarket chain.
Key Responsibilities – Mobile Maintenance Electrician (Area Site Technician)
- Complete Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) within agreed timescales, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately.
- Perform general repairs and maintenance including electrical, mechanical, and minor fabric works (e.g. door repairs, basic plumbing, flooring).
- Carry out reactive and planned fire alarm system maintenance.
- Conduct emergency lighting tests and necessary repairs.
- Identify and report non-repairable faults in plant and machinery, making recommendations for replacement.
- Ensure all tasks are carried out in line with health & safety regulations and client procedures.
Qualifications & Requirements – Mobile Maintenance Electrician (Area Site Technician)
- NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds 236 Part 1 & 2 or equivalent in Electrical Installation/Maintenance.
- City & Guilds 18th Edition.
- AM2 or 2391 Inspection & Testing.
- Experience using PDA systems for job management.
- Background in maintaining and repairing a range of electrical and mechanical equipment, ideally within a retail environment.
- Experience in both reactive and PPM maintenance.
