Salary: £36,000 + annual bonus

Working hours: Monday to Thursday 7:30 am to 16:30 and early finish on Friday at 13.00

We are now seeking to recruit a mechanical fitter to work for a dynamic and growing company manufacturing fluid systems. The appropriate candidate would be responsible for mechanical fitting of bespoke fluid systems, hoses and valves. The appropriate candidate would be trained in fabrication and preferably has experience of bending copper or steel pipes.
Responsibilities of mechanical fitter:- Working to specifications assembling / fitting of fluid systems, hoses, valves and pressure regulators
- Using measuring tools, callipers, verniers and micrometres
- Working to technical drawings
- Pipe bending
- Good working knowledge of measuring tools with ability to use them
- Previous experience in precision mechanical fitting or assembly environment
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Pipe bending experience is desirable but full training will be provided
- Meticulous eye for detail
- Previous experience in working to precise tolerances using measuring tools such as micrometres and callipers
