Role Overview β Aftermarket Sales Manager
Our client is a well-established and highly respected engineering services organisation with an international customer base and a strong reputation for delivering specialist technical solutions across a range of industrial sectors. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an Aftermarket Sales Manager to take ownership of a defined territory across the UK and Europe. This is a consultative, customer-facing role responsible for managing the full sales lifecycle, developing new business opportunities, and building long-term relationships with existing customers. Following an initial onboarding period, you will work closely with customers to understand their technical requirements and deliver tailored engineering solutions, supported by internal sales, production, and engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities β Aftermarket Sales Manager
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within your assigned territory
- Manage and grow relationships with existing customers across the UK and Europe
- Visit customer sites to understand requirements and recommend suitable technical solutions
- Act as the primary point of contact for customer enquiries and commercial discussions
- Plan and manage your own schedule to maximise customer engagement and business development activity
- Prepare detailed quotations and proposals in collaboration with internal teams
- Lead negotiations and manage the full sales process from enquiry through to order completion
- Monitor project and order progress to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction
- Produce and maintain accurate sales, quotation, and contract documentation
- Provide ongoing aftersales support to strengthen long-term customer relationships
- Liaise closely with production and engineering teams to ensure successful project delivery
- Develop and maintain relationships with agents, distributors, and strategic partners where required
