Position: Trainee ToolmakerLocation: Redditch, WorcestershireJob Type: Permanent / Onsite
Salary: ÂŁ33000 to ÂŁ35000 per annum
Hours of work:Â Monday to Thursday 7:00 am to 3:00 pm and on Fridays 7:00 am to middayÂ
My client, a driving force in the aerospace manufacturing industry are on the hunt for a Trainee Toolmaker to come in and join the team!
Role and Responsibilities:In this role you will look to be trained on manual milling, manual grinding and turning. This includes completing the manufacturing and assembly process of products through reading engineering drawings and utilising all tools.
Experience or Qualifications –
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 standard in a relevant engineering subject (Mechanical / Aerospace) or equivalentÂ
- Ability to be in a “hands on” environment and ideally have some previous experience in toolroom environment.
- Understanding Engineering Drawings and be able to react to manufacturing processes
