The role: Are you an experienced professional in fall protection, or do you have a strong background in field-based services and are looking for a new challenge? Omega Red Group is seeking motivated individuals to join our team and develop their skills within the specialist field of height safety. As a Fall Protection Support Operative, you will assist with the installation, testing, and repair of height safety systems across a range of sites nationwide. Working alongside experienced engineers, you will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. This role offers the opportunity to gain industry-recognised qualifications, including NVQ training in Working at Heights following a qualifying period, while building a long-term career within a supportive and growing organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the installation, testing, and repair of height safety systems
- Work on a variety of sites, including existing buildings and construction projects across the UK
- Support lead engineers to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and to specification
- Maintain high standards of health & safety and quality on all tasks
- Follow risk assessments and safe systems of work at all times
- Contribute to a positive team environment and develop technical skills on the job
What You’ll Need:
- Previous experience in fall protection or height safety (desirable)
- Experience in a field-based or remote working role
- A flexible approach, with willingness to travel nationwide
- A proactive, self-motivated attitude with the ability to use initiative
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Confidence working at height, or a willingness to develop in this area
- A strong commitment to safety and quality
- A valid full UK driving licence (essential)
- CSCS Card (desirable)
