The role:
We are seeking a proactive and self-motivated Planner/Scheduler to provide essential administrative and operational support within our Compliance Team at Omega Red Group. This is a fast-paced, dynamic role that plays a critical part in coordinating engineers and ensuring the smooth delivery of safety-critical operations. You will be responsible for managing schedules, liaising with internal teams and external clients, and ensuring all activities are effectively planned and executed. While no specific qualifications are required, the role is ideally suited to someone with experience in planning, scheduling, or deployment coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule tests, inspections, repairs, and installations with clients and engineers across the UK via phone and email
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within internal IT systems
- Coordinate with internal teams and external contractors to ensure timely delivery of planned activities
- Manage and update scheduling data, ensuring efficiency and accuracy across all workstreams
- Arrange sourcing and ordering of plant, materials, and equipment required for projects
- Support engineers with site-based queries and scheduling adjustments
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to manage changes, delays, or unforeseen issues
- Contribute to the smooth and efficient operation of the Compliance Team
