Contract: Full-time | Permanent | 40 hours per week

The business is passionate about protecting people, property, electrical equipment and systems, from the damaging effects of lightning strikes, electrical faults and surges.

The Role: This is a field-based role involving frequent travel across the UK, including overnight stays where required. You will be responsible for surveying, testing, and installing a wide range of height safety systems, ensuring all work is completed to the highest safety and technical standards. You will play a key role in delivering a high-quality service to clients, working efficiently while maintaining full compliance with health and safety requirements through the effective use of risk assessments and method statements. The role also includes supporting and mentoring operatives in their height safety training, contributing to pre‑tender site surveys, and providing technical input to the Estimating team when required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out site surveys, testing, and installation of height safety equipment
  • Deliver high standards of customer service, meeting client needs professionally and effectively
  • Work efficiently while adhering to health & safety standards, risk assessments, and method statements
  • Install a variety of height safety systems with confidence and accuracy
  • Complete detailed test and inspection reports, identifying any remedial works required for compliance
  • Support pre‑tender site surveys and provide technical input to the Estimating team
  • Assist in mentoring and supporting operatives through their height safety training
  • Ensure all works are compliant with relevant legislation and industry standards

What You’ll Need:

  • Experience within the height safety industry
  • A flexible and adaptable approach, with willingness to travel and stay away from home as required
  • A valid full UK manual driving licence
  • A proactive, self motivated attitude with the ability to work independently
  • Strong initiative and problem-solving capability
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience installing, testing, and repairing height safety systems, including; Cable-based fall protection systems, Abseiling points, Davit arms and sockets, Guardrails, Eyebolts, Fixed ladders
  • CSCS card (preferable)
