The Role:
As an Apprentice Lightning Protection Operative, you’ll work alongside qualified Engineers, learning how to install, maintain, and repair lightning protection systems on a variety of client sites. This dynamic role offers a mix of practical experience, teamwork, and technical skill-building, setting you up for a rewarding career in electrical earthing and lightning protection.
The Apprenticeship Experience:
- Hands-on training with experienced Lightning Protection Engineers
- Structured class-based learning through the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB)
- Block study periods requiring occasional overnight stays
- At least 20% of your working hours spent on dedicated training and study
