The Role
Omega Red Group are looking for a proactive and organised Small Works Supervisor to support the delivery of our height safety remedial and small works contracts nationwide. This role focuses on managing and delivering smaller contracts and remedial works arising from test and inspection reports, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and to the required technical standards. Based from our Height Safety Nottingham office, the role will involve frequent travel across the UK and staying away from home when required to successfully deliver works. Full training will be provided; however a willingness to self‑learn, develop technical knowledge, and take ownership of your professional development is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and deliver small works and remedial contracts following test and inspection reports
- Supervise installation and remedial activities on height safety systems
- Coordinate site activities to ensure works are completed on time, safely, and to specification
- Act as the key point of contact for engineers on site and internal teams
- Ensure compliance with health & safety legislation, company procedures, and industry standards
- Review remediation scopes, materials, and work methods prior to site delivery
- Liaise with clients and respond professionally to site-related queries
- Support the efficient allocation of labour, materials, and access equipment
- Contribute to a high standard of customer satisfaction and repeat business
- Maintain accurate records, site documentation, and job reporting
What You’ll Need
- Experience within the height safety, fall protection, construction, or related industries
- Good understanding (or willingness to develop knowledge) of relevant standards such as BS 7883 and BS EN 795
- Comfortable working in a hands‑on supervisory role
- Strong organisational and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple small works concurrently
- Effective communication with site teams, clients, and internal stakeholders
- Flexible approach, willingness to travel extensively and stay away from home
- Commitment to health & safety and quality delivery
- Full UK driving licence
