The Role:

  • Lightning Protection Fitters are required to travel to customer sites and install equipment to the client’s satisfaction in a safe and efficient manner.
  • The role will involve producing paperwork in accordance with standard operating procedures and ensuring an up to date working knowledge of the current code of practice for protection of structures against lightning (BSEN62305) is maintained.

Applicants will ideally be an experienced lightning conductor fitter with experience of the industry and hold a current CSCS card (having passed the Health & Safety test), however, this is not essential, as training will be offered to the right candidate. A willingness to travel is vital, along with an ability to work away from home on occasion.

  • Lightning Protection Fitter / Engineer experience
  • Full Driving Licence
  • CSCS
  • NVQ Level 2 in Lightning Protection installation
  • MEWP/PASMA qualifications
  • Willingness to travel
