Omega Red is a specialist design, installation, testing and maintenance contractor within the electrical earthing, lightning protection and height safety market. We operate nationally, delivering safety-critical services for the protection of people, buildings and infrastructure.
What You’ll Do
- Survey, test and install a variety of height safety equipment as a Fall Protection Engineer
- Provide excellent customer service to fulfil client needs
- Uphold health and safety standards through proficient use of risk and method statements
- Mentor support operatives through height safety training
- Install height safety equipment with confidence
- Support pre-tender site surveys by providing technical design input to the Estimating team when needed
- Complete test and inspection reports detailing any further works required for legislative compliance
What You’ll Need
- Experience within the height safety industry
- Flexible approach with ability to travel and lodge away from home when required
- Valid full UK manual driving licence
- Self-starter with the ability to get the job done
- Ability to use own initiative
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Minimum 2 years’ experience with installation, test and repair of height safety systems, including; cable-based fall protection systems, abseiling points, Davit Arms / sockets, guard rails, eye bolts and fixed ladders
- CSCS card (preferable)
