Responsibilities
About the role:
- To achieve monthly targets on sales, attend tender meetings, attend construction sites and confidently persuade and promote Omega’s service offering
- To produce quality designs and estimates ensuring all specifications and requirements are met to the clients satisfaction
- To ensure all quotations are competitive
- To retain and nurture existing client relationships for additional business
- To work in cooperation with the delivery team & estimating lead on a day to day basis to allow business objectives and targets to be met
- To monitor market trends and be aware of the market competition
- To accurately record and update all business activity on our business system
What You’ll Need
- Worked in the construction industry within a contracting business
- Hold a thorough understanding of tender/bid processes and pricing strategies
- Strong customer interface skills
- Ability to understand and translate the needs of the client into a coherent bid
- Possess drive and passion necessary to support growth to the business needs
- Well organised with excellent time management skills
- Experienced within the Lightning Protection industry, with a knowledge of British standard (BS EN62305) would be a distinct advantage
- Strong influencing and negotiating skills as required to secure opportunities
- Able to build strong customer relationships, secure new business whilst maintaining existing
- Demonstrate contractual awareness
- Valid driving licence is essential
