Omega Red is seeking an exceptional Estimator to join our team in Nottingham.
Who We Are
Omega Red, part of SSI Services (UK) Ltd, a division of South Staffordshire Plc. Omega Red is a specialist contractor for electrical earthing, lightning protection, and height safety. We operate nationally, providing top quality safety-critical services.
Responsibilities
- Produce quality designs and estimates ensuring all specifications and client requirements are met.
- Ensure all quotations are competitive and retain existing client relationships for additional business.
- Attend tender meetings, construction sites, and promote Omega’s service offering.
- Work in cooperation with the delivery team and estimating lead to meet business objectives.
- Monitor market trends and competition.
- Accurately record and update all business activity in our system.
What You’ll Need
- Worked in the construction industry within a contracting business.
- Understanding of tender/bid processes and pricing strategies.
- Strong customer interface and negotiation skills.
- Ability to translate client needs into coherent bids.
- Drive and passion to support business growth.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Experience in Lightning Protection, knowledge of BS EN62305 a distinct advantage.
- Valid driving licence.
What You’ll Get
- Full-time, Permanent position.
