A great opportunity to join a successful sub-contract engineering business located in beautiful Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire. They are looking for a skilled CNC Mill/Turn machinist (Setter Operator level) to supplement their team in a role that has arisen through growth.
Responsibilities
- Setting and operating CNC MILL/TURN Lathe machines with FANUC operating control system to produce turned components to customer drawings and specifications.
- Inspection of your own work to drawing and SPC requirements.
- General high standard of engineering ability - fully skilled.
- Maintain your area to a high standard of 5C/5S.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Completed a recognised apprenticeship in mechanical engineering.
- General high standard of engineering ability - fully skilled.
- Working knowledge of Nakamura machines with bar feed is an advantage but not essential.
- Adept with FANUC Controls and have solid experience in the aerospace industry.
