We are recruiting a Site Services Engineer to support a large, modern manufacturing facility in Wrexham. This role is critical to ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of all site-wide services and hard facilities. Working on a continental shift pattern, you'll take ownership of essential infrastructure including HVAC, boilers, and associated building services, helping to maintain a safe and compliant production environment.
Responsibilities
- Maintain, monitor, and repair site services including HVAC systems, boilers, steam, compressed air, and water systems.
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across all hard services and facilities equipment.
- Ensure site utilities operate efficiently to support continuous manufacturing operations.
- Diagnose faults and coordinate repairs to minimise disruption to production.
- Manage contractors and service providers, ensuring work is completed safely and to standard.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety legislation, statutory inspections, and site procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and statutory documentation.
- Support energy efficiency initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
Qualifications
- Recognised engineering qualification (Level 3 or equivalent) in a relevant discipline.
- Proven experience in a site services, facilities, or utilities engineering role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong working knowledge of HVAC systems, boilers, and associated hard services.
- Understanding of statutory compliance requirements (e.g. pressure systems, gas safety, LOLER, PUWER).
- Ability to fault-find, prioritise work, and work independently on shift.
- Good communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
