Responsibilities
- Oversee manufacturing/production operations, prioritising safety, quality, line efficiency and delivery.
- Lead performance proactively, including Performance Improvement Plans for your team.
- Coordinate and drive development projects that result in performance improvements, cost reduction, greater competitiveness and team engagement.
- Lead shift operations with safety as the absolute priority.
- Drive performance across quality, output, and efficiency.
- Lead and develop shift coordinators and frontline teams.
- Own performance management and continuous improvement.
- Deliver improvement projects focused on cost, capability, and competitiveness.
- Ensure smooth flow from raw materials to finished product.
- Champion GMP standards and best practices manufacturing.
- Play a key part in achieving manufacturing process and production goals through visible hands-on leadership, with safety at the core.
- Help sustain an already outstanding process performance, evolving to innovate and improve service levels through safe GMP practices.
Qualifications
- Considerable understanding of all areas of factory operations, especially process, manufacturing and packaging backgrounds.
- Experience in FMCG, regulated GMP, process or fast-paced manufacturing industry.
- Proven record in driving improvements and a growth mindset.
- Ambitious, able to lead people and drive objectives, goals, strategies, and measures through people.
- Knowledge of lean tools is advantageous; manufacturing improvements ideal.
- Ability to work shifts, leading a team of up to 20 process and manufacturing technicians.
