Description
We are now seeking to recruit a manual machinist for a manufacturing business based in Gloucester. The appropriate manual machinist would be responsible for operating conventional machines and horizontal boring machine. The responsibilities of a toolmaker: Operate conventional machines; set and operate all Toolroom measuring equipment; ensure correct tools and equipment are available for tasks and repairs; be a proactive and flexible team member, training in other disciplines where required.

Requirements
- Time served toolmaker or equivalent qualifications e.g., City and Guilds, NVQ level 3, HNC, etc.
- Proven interpersonal and leadership abilities to work proactively with and professional people and to interact effectively with individuals and groups both internal and external to the company and at all organizational levels.
- Manual turning or milling experience
- Must be able to work to tight tolerances
