An exciting opportunity has arisen at our Thorne site for a talented Graphic Designer to join our Marketing team. As a Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for creating and assisting in the design and development of both digital and printed material consistent with the company’s brand guidelines.

Responsibilities include:

1. Working in conjunction with the Marketing Department and third party agencies, create and/or assists with the design of the following:

  • Conceptualise and create compelling visual designs across all formats
  • Develop and Design consumer facing brochures
  • Create Price Guides and Amendment documents
  • Consumer and trade advertising designs
  • Promotional bulletins design
  • New product flyers/bulletins design
  • Corporate promotional material artwork
  • Retailer point-of-sale material artwork
  • Video content development
  • Presentation graphics
  • Website graphics
  • Develop social media graphics & advertising
  • Company newsletter design
  • Branding development
  • Brand guardian – ensure creative output is consistent across all channels

2. Works as part of the Marketing team to deliver items to agreed timescales.

3. Assists with administration and ad hoc duties within the team as and when required.

The ideal candidate will be educated to degree or diploma standard in a related subject (i.e.graphic design, illustration, fine art etc) and have a proven creative flair, with the ability to visualise, as well as convey a message into relevant and interesting creative proposals.

With good communication skills, the postholder will be able to work with a range of people at all levels and be able to develop and deliver presentations. They will be a forward thinker, with a keen interest and awareness of current and emerging design concepts, trends and best practices and possess a good understanding of digital/traditional marketing channels.
