Position: Machine Operator
Location: Cam, Gloucestershire
Pay rate: £14.44 per hour
Working hours: Early shifts (Mon-Thu 06:00-14:00; Fri 06:00-13:00), Late shifts (Mon-Thu 14:00-22:00; Fri 13:00-20:00)
Weekly rotation
A leading Textile Manufacturer based in Cam, Dursley, is looking for a Machine Operator to join their spinning department. The position is full time on double day shifts and after training the successful candidate will have the opportunity to join on a permanent contract. The successful candidate will join the spinning department, operating high-speed machines and ensuring all products meet pre-determined specifications. You'll work in a dynamic manufacturing environment, contributing to high-quality textile production.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and manage a variety of machines
- Conduct quality control checks and maintain production standards
- Log and report any issues with sub-standard products or machinery
- Maintain an organised and tidy work environment
- Adapt quickly to new tasks and ensure flexibility in a fast-paced setting
Qualifications & Requirements
- At least 2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment
- Proven ability to work with minimal supervision
- Organised, proactive and able to work efficiently under time pressures
