Omega Tutoring is looking for 1:1 tutors to support children in care, children with special educational needs and excluded pupils in Dover and the surrounding areas. Tutors will work on a 1:1 basis with students aged 5‑16 years old, many of whom are disengaged in education and may be outside the school roll. Sessions will take place at the student's home or the local library. Students often have behaviour and/or SEN difficulties and work below age‑related expectations. The role typically consists of 3 hours per day, 5 days per week, with flexibility to accommodate the student’s needs and potential for additional hours by taking on more cases. Successful candidates will deliver sessions with a focus on English and Maths.

Experience, Training and Qualifications
- QTS or QTLS preferred but not essential; relevant experience required.
- Minimum of degree level.
- Experience working with students with SEN.
- Highly motivated and focused on achieving the best for every student.
- Positive attitude and willingness to engage students.
- Ability to motivate students and make learning enjoyable.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate, registered with the online update service, or willingness to apply.
- Provide two professional child‑related references.
