Working hours:
- Week 1: 06:00 am to 2:00 pm, Monday to Friday
- Week 2: 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm
- Early finish on Friday: 11:00 am on AM shift and 7:00 pm on PM shift
My client, a well-established specialist in precision manufacturing, is looking for an experienced CNC Machinist to support the production of high-quality components. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business supplying precision parts across a range of industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set and operate 3 and 4 axis CNC milling machines with Haas controls to manufacture precision components
- Work from engineering drawings, CAD data, and written instructions
- Use inspection and measuring equipment to ensure components meet required tolerances
- Self-inspect components to maintain quality standards
- Accurately complete relevant documentation and production records
- Maintain a clean and organised working environment
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Previous experience setting and operating CNC machines (any control system as training will be provided on HAAS)
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Flexible approach to shift working patterns, ability to work rotating AM and PM shifts
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good timekeeping and housekeeping
