We are now seeking to recruit a mechanical fitter to work for a dynamic and growing company manufacturing fluid systems. The appropriate candidate would be responsible for mechanical fitting of bespoke fluid systems, hoses and valves.
Responsibilities:
- Train in fabrication and preferably have experience of bending copper or steel pipes.
- Assemble and fit fluid systems, hoses, valves and pressure regulators to specifications.
- Use measuring tools, callipers, verniers and micrometres.
- Work to technical drawings.
- Pipe bending.
Requirements:
- Good working knowledge of measuring tools with ability to use measuring tools.
- Previous experience in precision mechanical fitting or assembly environment.
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Pipe bending experience is desirable but full training will be provided.
- Meticulous eye for detail.
- Previous experience in working to precise tolerances using measuring tools such as micrometers and callipers.
