Job Description

EICR Test Electrician\\nThis role will require occasional working away and an enhanced DBS.\\nWe have a vacancy for an enthusiastic and motivated Electrical Technician.\\nDuties will primarily be focused upon Electrical Installation Condition Reporting, with an aim to carry out quoted EICR remedial works as required also.\\nIn addition to the primary focus flexibility is a key attribute within our organisation and duties may include carrying out maintenance (statutory and otherwise), servicing and reactive breakdown repair to the building assets and services. The successful candidate will be a time served electrical engineer and will have at least 5 years’ experience within the field.\\nThis position will predominately be a mobile role covering contracted client sites within the region however it may be required that cover and attendance to additional contracts is also required at times.\\nThe successful candidate will need to be an Electrical Engineer who is able to carry out EICRs. Ensure all Health and Safety requirements and legislation, including Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work and COSHH Records, are adhered to during your daily work.\\nA team player is key, while having the ability and confidence to work alone.

Customer service is at the forefront of every approach and we endorse with a strong belief that every employee is an ambassador of the company.\\nEssential Experience\\n * Experienced in general building PPM schedules and reactive works\\n * Carry out Electrical Installation Condition Reporting (EICR) within commercial, industrial and domestic settings\\n * Mitigation of any risks that may arise from the non-completion of statutory tasks\\n * Statutory electrical maintenance and servicing\\n * Ensuring safe site working practices and procedures\\n * Provide technical and clear reporting\\n * Ensure Planned and reactive tasks are completed in a timely and compliant completion\\n * Work in partnership with the Service Desk Administration team to ensure seamless service delivery\\n * Experience in supporting a diverse, technical multi-skilled, team\\n * Must work well within a team and support other engineers whilst able to make decisions based upon own knowledge and initiative\\n * Possess detailed working knowledge of current H&S Legislation\\n * Must hold current & relevant Engineering qualification\\nEssential/Preferable Qualification (all or a selection of the following)\\n * Inspection and testing 2391-52\\n * City & Guilds L2 Electrical Installation\\n * City & Guilds H&S Electrical Principles\\n * National Vocational Qualification, Level 3\\n * 18th Edition Qualified\\n * Full Driving license\\nPersonal Attributes\\n * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills\\n * Excellent organisational skills\\n * Ability to work in a flexible and co-operative manner\\n * Ability to respond to high workloads and stressful situations in a calm and effective way.\\n * Punctuality and reliability\\n * Desire to grow and work well within an everchanging landscape\\n * Results and client satisfaction lead drive\\nThe client offers and attractive employment package inclusive of annual leave, overtime opportunity, exciting growth and development, competitive salary offers, company vehicle and much more!\\nIf you would like to be part of a great working team and embark on an exciting and new career opportunity, look no further
