Electrical Shift Maintenance Engineer - Temporary ongoing role

Hourly rate: £40 - 42 per hour

Job Type: Temporary Contract, Inside, NO LTD COMPANY, SORRY

Electrical bias, ideally dual skilled

Client: Global Consumer FMCG Manufacturing Company

Location: Halifax area

Contract Type: Temporary Contract 3-6 months

You will be joining a Global manufacturing FMCG leader with a huge number of sites across the Globe. The manufacturing factory site you will be joining is world-class and you will be maintaining assets that produce Global market leading consumer products that people buy every second of every day.

Key Responsibilities – Electrical Shift Maintenance Engineer - Contract

  • To service, adjust and repair machinery and equipment using the necessary tools in a safe manner, maintaining process and packaging equipment
  • To examine machinery and equipment and report on condition, performance, and plan of action for improvements
  • Carry out Planned and preventative maintenance to agreed schedules
  • Share good ideas to form mini projects to improve the plant performance including machinery modifications

Qualifications & Requirements - Electrical Shift Maintenance Engineer - Contract

  • Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical engineering or maintenance or similar manufacturing FMCG, Food and Drink, Packaging or related background
  • HND or HNC Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical engineering
  • Or equivalent of any of the above in electrical or mechanical fields preferably with a manufacturing background
  • PLC experience preferred
