I'm currently supporting a well-established FMCG manufacturing site in the Wrexham area with an urgent requirement for a Materials Planner on a 3-month ongoing contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a fast-paced, high-performing factory environment, where you'll play a critical role in ensuring production runs smoothly through effective materials planning, scheduling, and supply chain coordination.

Key Responsibilities - Materials Planner Scheduler
  • Manage raw material and packaging availability to meet production plans
  • Drive MRP activity, supplier scheduling, and purchase order management (SAP)
  • Plan and coordinate high SKU variability materials across production schedules
  • Own inventory levels, stock accuracy, and material flow optimisation
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with production, procurement, and logistics teams
  • Proactively mitigate risk, avoid downtime, and improve supply performance
What We're Looking For - Materials Planner Scheduler
  • Experience as a Materials Planner, Supply Chain Planner, or Production Planner
  • Background in FMCG, food & drink, or fast-paced manufacturing environments
  • Strong capability in raw materials planning with high SKU complexity/variability
