We're working with a global leading manufacturer and packaging business, looking to recruit a Building Services Technician (Electrical Bias) at their Gloucestershire site. This is a hands-on, varied role, where you'll take ownership of site-wide maintenance—combining your commercial or industrial electrical background and expertise with broader facilities and building services work in a high-performing, fast-paced environment.

What you'll be doing:
- You'll be the go-to person for keeping the site running safely and efficiently, with a strong focus on electrical maintenance across a wide range of building services.
- Carry out electrical maintenance & fault finding (lighting, sockets, emergency systems).
- Deliver planned (PPM) and reactive maintenance across the site.
- Maintain key utilities and equipment, including boilers, compressors, HVAC & air handling systems.
- Support site compliance – permits to work, contractor control, Legionella.
- Complete general building maintenance – plumbing, carpentry, fabric repairs.
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs across electrical, mechanical and building fabric.
- Coordinate and supervise contractors and external works.
- Conduct checks on: Fire alarms & emergency lighting, Ventilation & extraction systems, Water systems & hygiene standards.
In short: no two days look the same – this is a proper multi-skilled, site-wide role, working on a large site with an established, long-serving maintenance team.
What we're looking for:
- Qualified or time-served electricians who enjoy variety and want to broaden their skillset.
- Electrical qualification (NVQ / City & Guilds / 18th Edition preferred).
- Experience in Building services/facilities/site maintenance.
- Comfortable working across: Electrical + general maintenance.
- Experience with PPM & reactive maintenance, Permits to work / contractor management.
