The Opportunity: Mechanical to Electrical Conversion Engineer

What We're Looking For (Essential): We are specifically targeting mechanically biased engineers with:

  • Apprenticeship (Mechanical) OR NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Maintenance / Engineering
  • Backgrounds considered: Manufacturing – including automotive, aerospace and process chemicals etc; Food & beverage/packaging – the sweet spot; Pharmaceutical/process industries; Or any mechanical maintenance environment (open to all trades)

Exposure to the following is highly beneficial:

  • Conveyors, motors, gearboxes, belts
  • Packaging machinery/process equipment
  • Basic exposure to sensors, relays, or electrical fault-finding
