Location: Halifax area
Contract Type: Temporary Contract 3-6 months
You will be joining a Global manufacturing FMCG leader with a huge number of sites across the Globe. The manufacturing factory site you will be joining is world-class and you will be maintaining assets that produce Global market leading consumer products that people buy every second of every day.
Key Responsibilities:
- To service, adjust and repair machinery and equipment using the necessary tools in a safe manner, maintaining process and packaging equipment.
- To examine machinery and equipment and report on condition, performance, and plan of action for improvements.
- Carry out Planned and preventative maintenance to agreed schedules.
- Share good ideas to form mini projects to improve the plant performance including machinery modifications.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical engineering or maintenance or similar manufacturing.
- FMCG, Food and Drink, Packaging or related background.
- HND or HNC Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical engineering.
- Or equivalent of any of the above in electrical or mechanical fields preferably with a manufacturing background.
- PLC experience preferred.
