Job Role: Engineering Stores Coordinator Client: Global Category Leading Manufacturer in retail Consumer Goods Job Type: Temporary to permanent, weekly contract to start with Working Hours: Monday – Friday Days, flexible on start/finish times, 40 hour week, ideally 8-4 but flexible Salary: £14 – £18 PH target range Contract: TEMP – PERM Location: Pontefract / Castleford area Key Responsibilities: Reporting to the Site Engineering Facilities Manager and responsible for the Maintenance stores processes to enable delivery of the Business objectives against factory Key Performance Indicators. Lead the Engineering Stores and delivery against KPI’s which contribute to the Site delivery targets. Correlate all existing data on the system with what is in stock. Maintain a well-organized and safe engineering store to minimize equipment downtime and improve performance. Achieve site Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) with respect to stock value, accuracy, stock turns & consignment stock. Establish processes and ways of working for a 24/7 site. Develop the Engineering Stores capabilities. Implement robust stock management and controls, identifying continuous improvement opportunities to meet site needs. Proactively source alternative components, engineered parts, and suppliers that meet technical standards. Manage the complete end-to-end return of defective/non-conforming parts. Check deliveries and receipt of goods into the computer systems. Update and maintain a computerized stocking system for all material movements. Organize parts for specific maintenance tasks/shutdown work. Qualifications and Requirements: 2-3 years experience in engineering or stores management environment. Open to industry background. Experienced in systems for data input. Good level of literacy/numeracy. Computer literate – Excel, Word, Outlook etc. IT skills including familiarity with word processing, spreadsheets, presentations. Manual handling preferred. What We Can Offer: Competitive salary.
